Whatsapp has made many improvements foriOS 8.1 in its new version, but a new feature has plagued many people, that is read and delivery receipts feature that will let you know that when your message was read.
So Here’s how to disable Whatsapp’s read and delivery receipts on iPhone With Jailbreak tweak.
Step 1: Add This Source In Cydia http://modmyi.com/repo/ or http://apt.modmyi.com/
Step 2: After source adding, click on the Modmyi source you just added, then tap on all packages, search for Whatsapp+ and install it. The latest version of Whatsapp plus is 1.5-22.
Step 3: After the phone rebooting, just go to Whatsapp -> settings and you will find out a new section under the name Whatsapp+ Settings. Click on it ,and disable read and delivery receipts as u desire.
In addition to disabling the receipts for all of your contacts, you can disable them contact by contact. This is a great and easy fix to your privacy settings.
Although Whatsapp+ 1.5 is free, but it’s the plugin will always display few ads on the top of your chat screen. If you really can not stand the ads, then advise you not install it. And since Whatsapp server are fooled and do not know if you received your messages or not, they will keep sending you notification of the same chat
